The English Baptist Mission is an association of believers owning God as their Father, relying for salvation only on the finished atonement made by our Lord Jesus Christ, and living under the quickening and sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit.

Doctrinal Statement
Our only standard is God's Holy Word (the 66 books of the Old and New Testament), and all our preaching, teaching, and living, is tested thereby. The following foundational truths are held and defended:
 

  • The fall of man, and ruin by sin.

  • Redemption by the precious blood of Christ. (1 Peter 1:18-19)

  • Redemption by the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5-6 Titus 3:5)

  • Justification by faith. (Romans 5:1)

  • Fullness of the Spirit for every believer. (Eph 5:18)

  • The Deity of our Lord. (Matt 16:16)
    Equality of the Three Persons in the Trinity; being equal in person,
    power, and glory, and every attribute belonging to the Godhead.

  • The second and personal coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at any
    moment. (1 Thess 4:17-18 Titus 2:13)

  • We believe the sacred scriptures of the Old and New Testament, from
    Genesis to Revelation, to be the inspired word of God (not only
    containing the word of God) but to be the infallible word of God; and
    we reverently receive such as our only authority for Order,
    Ordinances, Faith and Conduct.
